German company Merck has appointed a new Chief Information Officer (CIO), James Stewart, to replace Frédéric Wohlwend who has left the company to pursue over ventures.
Stewart joined Merck Serono in 2011, coming from a number of key roles at ‘other’ Merck – known as MSD outside North America – he took on since 2001.
“We thank Frédéric Wohlwend for his many years of service to our company,” said Executive Board Member Kai Beckmann. “However, we are pleased to have appointed James Stewart, a highly qualified and experienced manager, to succeed him.”
