The Clinical Trial Company has incorporated a new US business to meet the needs of its growing client and sponsor base.

The San Francisco-based office will supplement their other North American office in Montreal, which was established in 2006.

The US business is led by David Smith, who said, “With fewer funding sources available to pharmaceutical and device companies it is becoming more and more important that [sponsors] invest their funds wisely and execute their clinical strategies as quickly and effectively as possible."

The company has some of the largest multi-national pharma companies as clients and provides a tailored drug development service to smaller companies looking to bring new drug and device products to market.

The company also operates in the EU, Eastern Europe, India, China, Africa and Australia.
