British Generic Manufacturers Association
The British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA) has appointed Thomas Broeer, MD, Kent Pharmaceuticals, as its two-year chairman.
The position is vacataed by Kim Innes, a Teva senior director, who now steps into the trade body’s vice-chair.
Broeer has previously held senior management roles with Mylan and Merck Generics Group, both in the UK and Germany.
Jeremy Durrant, BGMA spokesman, told in-Pharmatechnologist.com the expansion of the biosimilars market will be a major area of focus for BGMA in 2014.
