Retrogenix
Retrogenix, a company using cell microarray technology to determine target activities of antibodies, proteins, small molecules and viruses, has appointed a North American Business Development Director in Matthew Britz.
Britz will take up the role immediately, and will be based in the company’s offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in a bid to grow Retrogenix’s US and Canadian business.
The firm’s microarray platform is used by pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies to identify the human cell surface receptors, which Retrogenix says cuts research costs and by preventing unnecessary project delays. The company’s expansion in the US follows an increase in demand for the technology, particularly in the area of target deconvolution following phenotypic screening, it said.
