Arno Therapeutics has appointed Alexander Zukiwski as Interim CEO and Lawrence Kenyon as Chief Operating Officer.
The biopharmaceutical company, which focuses on the development of oncology therapeutics, announced that Zukiwski will continue in his job as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of the Company, as well as his new role. He has worked for 19 years in pharmaceutical and biotechnology, including as Executive VP, Clinical Research, and Chief Medical Officer at MedImmune, as well as senior positions at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development and Ortho Biotech. He replaces Glenn Mattes as CEO, effective immediately.
In addition to the CEO appointment, Lawrence Kenyon, Arno’s Chief Financial Officer, was named Chief Operating Officer, expanding his duties to include day‐to‐day responsibility of the company’s business‐related functions.
