Nosopharm
A French company which researches and develops anti-infective drugs has added four experts to its scientific advisory board.
Nosopharm CEO Philippe Villain-Guillot (pictured) announced the appointment of Dominique Breilh, Jacques Dumas, Jean-Michel Molina and Patrice Nordmann, who will select which candidate to take to clinical trials from among the company’s newly discovered antibiotic class. Odilorhabdin antibiotics are derived from the NOSO-95 molecule.
Breilh runs the pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy laboratory at the University of Bordeaux and is head of internal pharmacy for her region of France.
Dumas has held positions as Chief Scientific Officer of Idenix Pharmaceuticals and VP for Infectious Diseases at AstraZeneca.
Molina is professor of infectious diseases at the University of Paris Diderot – Paris 7.
Nordmann is director of molecular microbiology at Switzerland’s University of Fribourg.
