Provectus Biopharmaceuticals, which makes oncology and dermatology therapies, has added a senior Pfizer director to its Strategic Advisory Board.

Deanna Angello, a Director of Commercial Strategy and New Business Planning within the Global Established Pharma business at Pfizer, said she was pleased to join the advisory board as Provectus begins its Phase III trial of Intralesional PV-10 for melanoma.

At Pfizer, Angello hunts down business opportunities in the US, notably in the licensing of new assets, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. She was promoted to this position from her role as senior manager of marketing for Lyrica, a product approved for fibomyalgia, diabetic peripheral neuropathy and other pain-related conditions.

She has also worked in Strategy and Analytics at Pfizer, and as a management consultmant at Booz Allen and Bearing Point.
