American Cancer Society
Johnson & Johnson VP of Government Affairs and Policy has left the pharma company to lead the American Cancer Society.
Gary Reedy was selected by the Society’s board as its next CEO, replacing long-timer John Seffrin.
Reedy has been a volunteer with ACS since 2000 and has already served as Chair of its Board of Directors. He has also held senior positions at SmithKline Beecham (now GSK), and Centocor. He holds directorships at the non-profits Emory & Henry College, the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, and the Tobacco-Free Kids Action Fund.
