CMC Biologics
Contract manufacturer CMC Biologics, which is bioprocessing operartions in Denmark and the US, has announced Gustavo Mahler will be promoted to CEO from January 1.
Mahler joined the company as head of its Seattle facility in 2008 and became president of US operations and later global COO.
"This transition of Gustavo taking over the CEO responsibility from Claes Glassell has been planned for a long time,” said David Kauffman, Chairman, CMC Biologics. “We are excited that Gustavo can continue the leadership of the Company through a seamless transition. Claes has been with CMC Biologics for more than 10 years, first as a board director and as CEO since 2011. He will continue as a board director and we are grateful for his commitment and the industrial experience he brought to the company.”
