CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services

Contract research organisation (CRO) CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services has made internal promotions for posts heading regulatory affairs and clinical trials.

Kathryn Wekselman has been appointed Senior Director of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs after a two-year stint at CTI and 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including time at INC Research, Camargo Pharmaceutical Services, and P&G Pharmaceuticals. Her areas of responsibility at CTI include orphan drug designation requests, paediatric assessment plans, and applications for INDs (investigational new drugs).

Meanwhile, Shawna Bredek has been promoted to Director of Clinical Trials following 13 years’ work in clinical research and study management at the company. She has been especially involved in studies involving paediatric populations and gene therapies.
